The Broadband Moles for Deutsche Telekom
One of Deutsche Telekom’s biggest business challenges: the slow pace of nationwide broadband expansion. That’s why they’re now calling in the support of some local experts: the Broadband Moles. Without the hassle of major construction sites, these moles tunnel and lay fiber optic cables over miles – thanks to their shovel-like digging paws.
Of course, they strictly follow German (!) work safety regulations. Which assign them for only one shift a year: April 1st.
As an adorably clever April Fools’ prank, the Broadband Moles burrowed their way into the hearts of users across all social media platforms. Digging up not only countless likes but also heaps of goodwill for Deutsche Telekom.
